An introduction to the world of social and emotional learning

Our Concepts Class is a 2-hour professional development session that provides an overview of the evidence and practices to nurture and improve social and emotional development in children.

This is a wonderful introductory session to get a sense of the programs philosophy, values and style of working with educators.

Content includes:

• Social & emotional development in the early years and the relationship to mental health.
• Observing social & emotional development.
• Everyday opportunities to activate and incrementally improve social & emotional development.
• Practices to activate social and emotional development.
